I cut out the entire back of this tie-dye sweater and crocheted a delicate frame around a piece of art my mom made a long, long time ago. The artwork depicts a baroness—a title for a woman of nobility, strength, and quiet authority. Using the finest cotton yarn, I traced every detail of her previous work, letting the frame honor the piece she created. Later, I added crochet flowers to bring a gentle touch and dimension to the piece. This is a very dear piece to me, not only because my mom’s touch lives in it, but also because a baroness is a symbol of resilience, grace, and the quiet power passed down through generations of women
